Through short films and filmmaker residencies, workshops, and festivals, Minikino and GSFF hope to open a creative dialogue in Scotland and Indonesia around environmental sustainability, social change, and empowerment. This collaboration will seek to find common ground on each organisation’s community challenges in driving social change, facilitating greater inclusion, and developing plans for longer-term partnerships.

Boni is the Director for International Business Development at BEKRAF (Badan Ekonomi Kreatif) or the Indonesian Creative Economy Agency. The Indonesian Creative Economy Agency is a non-ministerial governmental institution with a mandate below the Indonesian President. Prior to Bekraf, Boni was the Deputy Director at the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.

Caglar Kimyoncu is a digital and video artist. His interest is in representations of excluded voices and voices perceived as “other”. His method involves extensive research and interviews. He is also intensely collaborative.

Caglar’s currently working on: Conscience, a multimedia installation. As the 2015 recipient of the Shape Arts Adam Reynolds Memorial Bursary, he was Artist in Residence at the New Art Gallery, Walsall, where he completed the first stage of research for Conscience.

DANI is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. Her sound is inspired by the Irish traditional melodies she was raised with, her vocals blend bluesy coarseness with lullaby softness.

DANI spent 2016 delivering music workshops and performing in Europe and the Middle East, working in the field of global peace education. She has been researching and capturing new sounds to create a new piece of work that will be released in 2017.

Digital Nativ

In 2014, Miebi Sikoki and other colleagues founded Digital Nativ—a digital fabrication studio founded out of passion for creating compelling, disruptive, iconic brand building tools and experiences that connect with end-users, regardless of category or industry. Their projects center around the adoption of technology as part of their creative process.

Miebi Sikoki, is a graduate from the Pelita Harapan University’s School of Visual Communication Design in 2007. As a trained professional in computer graphics and software programming, Miebi aims to explore new possibilities in product designs and creative processes.

Elsya Patresia's interest in Environmental Engineering began in 2019 when she worked as an engineer for a coal mining company in East Kalimantan, Indonesia. Witnessing the environmental impact on local communities, she aims to research urban flooding and develop flood control systems using remote sensing data. After her studies, Elsya plans to contribute to sustainable development in Indonesia, leveraging the knowledge gained at Imperial College London.
