ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
Education Services is the British Council’s commercial offer to UK institutions, providing them with professional services support for international education work. The team deliver large scale events, marketing services, professional development and training as well as insight and consultancy services.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
You will contribute to business development through proactive engagement with clients and potential partners, lead on the successful implementation of the country IES business plan, and ensure quality of service delivery. IES services include delivery of market insight, student recruitment events, digital and content marketing, as well as providing assistance in brokering partnerships with local institutions.

In 2019 market growth for Indonesian students studying in the UK has been 11.3%*, and with the UK becoming increasingly attractive this growth is set to accelerate. Indonesia is a key focus for UK university internationalization, including not only student recruitment but partnerships with local universities and engagement with the private sector.
This role is an exciting opportunity to leverage your market strategy, insight and campaign execution experience to play a significant part in driving this growth.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should have a Degree in Social Sciences, Business or Marketing related filed with over five years substantial Marketing and Communication experience in a managerial position or delivering large scale marketing projects. Business development and good understanding of Indonesia education sector are essential for this position.
