Antonius Alexander Tigor is the General Manager of Legal Corporate Governance at Telkomsel, where he expertly blends technological innovation and legal expertise using the skills honed at Queen Mary University of London.
During his time majoring in Law at the esteemed university, he also joined the world-class Data Protection and Technology Law conference that enabled him to significantly expand his knowledge and hone his expertise in the subject matter. Understanding the importance of international collaboration, he went on to co-found the Nusantara Innovation Forum, an initiative aimed at bridging the gap between the UK and Indonesia in academic and technological spheres, by assisting Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in protecting and securing their intellectual property rights, such as trademarks, copyrights, and industrial design, at no cost. Antonius has worked extensively with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, most notably in establishing the Merah Putih Fund Project, which served as an incubator, accelerator, and investor for soonicorns or prospective unicorns. His commitment to upholding and advancing legal standards in data privacy and corporate governance has been recognised by ALB Thomson Reuters, who named him as a finalist for In-House Lawyer of the Year and Data Protection Lawyer of the Year in Southeast Asia in 2023 as well as Indonesia Rising Star in both 2021 and 2023.
