Redita Aliyah Utomo is the CEO of Merapi Park, a popular recreational park in Yogyakarta which features open spaces dedicated for outdoor study, community gathering, and relaxation.

Established by Redita and her siblings in 2017, the park has welcomed over 500,000 visitors since its inception and significantly bolstered local economy via the prioritisation of locals as employees and suppliers and encouragement for women to take leadership roles within its organisational structure. Under Redita’s leadership as its CEO, Merapi Park has received a number of prestigious accolades, including the Best Hospitality Award in Indonesia Tourism Hospitality, presented by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower and the Coordinating Ministry of Human Development and Culture, and a Joglosemar Tourism Award in the Leading Natural Destination category, presented by the Indonesia Travel Tourism Awards (ITTA) Foundation. Redita’s impressive educational background at the University of Birmingham, where she obtained a Bachelor of Sciences in Business Management, and at Bayes Business School - City, University of London, where she completed her Master of Sciences in Entrepreneurship, has proven to be influential in shaping her path to success as it equipped her with an advanced set of skills and knowledge. During her time at the University of Birmingham, for instance, Redita served as a Student Ambassador for Business School, a feat she repeated at Bayes Business School and continues to undertake upon her return as Bayes Business School Alumni Representative in Indonesia.
