A collective of Indonesian fashion brands are available on the UK high street for the first time ever, with Fenwick department store in London launching their Indonesian designer pop-up store as part of the Indonesia Fashion Forward programme.
President Jokowi popped in as part of his UK visit, meeting the designers and helping to kick off the UK/Indonesia 2016-18 season.
Indonesia Fashion Forward programme is a business skills development programme for young, Indonesian designers designed to help penetrate into the international market and showcase in international fashion weeks.
It was developed by British Council Indonesia along with partners from the Indonesian Government, Jakarta Fashion Week and Centre for Fashion Enterprise.
