Applications Deadline For [British Council] Script Room is Extended!

Good news for Indonesia film-makers! The deadline for [British Council] Script Room applications is extended until 14th February 2016 so you’ll have more time to prepare your applications.

Script Room is the latest series of our feature film capacity development programme in Indonesia. Script Room, as a programme, focused on script development and designed for film-making teams (comprising Writer-Director and Producer, or Writer, Director and Producer) who are at least in the first draft script stage of feature film development.

The idea and ambition for Script Room comes from the needs of Indonesia film-makers as well as insights from key people in Indonesia’s movie industry for a better script development to ensure a higher quality of scripts. But, Script Room also driven by the needs to share a deeper understanding of the mechanism of the development process, to ensure that not just writers but also directors and producers support story development in the best way possible.

British Council is committed to foster the exchange of film-making expertise and best practice between Indonesia and UK to develop career and collaboration opportunities in the future.

Script Room is a national programme and is open to film-makers from all across Indonesia. We encourage film-makers across Indonesia to participate in this programme because it will not only serve as an enhancement of film-making capacity but also as a getaway to better development of your current film project.
