Femmy Soemantri is the Partnerships and Advocacy Lead at Pulse Lab Jakarta since August 2020. Prior to joining the Lab, she worked with the British Council, leading on the Science portfolio. Among other experiences include working with the ASEAN Secretariat and the UN World Food Programme, where she developed understanding in data use for decision making. She believed that data not only tells powerful stories, but it can also reveal missing elements, and by connecting the dots using data, the insights can be utilised to improve people's lives.
Femmy graduated Cum Laude from Universitas Padjadjaran with an Economics and Development Studies major and holds a Master Degree in Development Studies from the University of Melbourne. With her cross-cutting interests in the world of science, innovation, history, and environment, she is an avid cross-sectoral collaborator.
