An opportunity for Indonesia-based disability arts practitioners who identify as disabled to experience disability arts sector in UK.
In partnership with DaDaFest, British Council is offering a 10-day learning residency programme in the UK for Indonesia-based disability arts practitioners who identify as disabled.
This programme is designed to act is a means to develop a cohort of key figures in Indonesian disability arts – artists, producers, activists, advocates, critics, curators – with skills, ideas, reputation within the wider sector, and international connections. In the long term, this cohort of key figures is expected to play a major role in supporting the development of a more sustainable ecosystem for disability arts in Indonesia.
The 10-day residency programme will comprise a series of visits and meetings with key members of the UK disability arts sector, performances, facilitated talks and networking opportunities.
This opportunity is fully funded, with travel expenses, living expenses and costs for access covered.
