Discover Indonesia, a tour showcasing Indonesian arts and culture in the UK has finished last September 2015. ‘Wonderful Indonesia’ delegations which include 1) Papermoon Puppet Theatre from Yogyakarta, puppeteers 2) Kande from Aceh, band 3) Soerya Soemirat Dance Workshop from Surakarta have successfully presented their works in 4 (four) prestigious arts centres in the UK, Cryptic (Glasgow), Southbank Centre (London), Wales Millennium Centre (Cardiff) and C Venues (Edinburgh). In Edinburgh, at the Edinburgh Fringe, Kande has won Herald Angels Award for its piece titled Aceh Meukondroe and Papermoon Puppet Theatre has been nominated in Fringe Sustainable Practice Award 2015.
