Call for Early Career Researchers to participate in a workshop on “Pores for thought: porous materials for greener energy and the environment” in Bali, Indonesia on 14th to 17th of February, 2015
We will be holding a workshop on porous materials in Bali on 14th to 17th of February, 2015 under the Researcher Links scheme offered within the Newton Fund, the British Council, University of Bath and Institut Teknologi Bandung.
The workshop is being coordinated by Dr Asel Sartbaeva (University of Bath) and Dr Rino Mukti (Institut Teknologi Bandung), and will have contributions from other leading researchers. We are now inviting Early Career Researchers from the UK and Indonesia to apply to attend this workshop. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the Newton Researcher Links programme.
The application form should be sent to Asel Sartbaeva (a.sartbaeva@bath.ac.uk) for UK participants and to Rino Mukti (rino@chem.itb.ac.id) for participants from Indonesia before the deadline of 15th of December, 2014.
Eligibility criteria
Early career researchers: postdoctoral researchers, fellows, lecturers, teaching fellows, industrial researchers working in the field of porous materials with experience no more than 10 years after PhD.

Students are not eligible to apply for this workshop.
Candidates will be selected based on following criteria:
- Experience and relevance of the applicant’s research area to the workshop
- Motivation and contribution to the aims of the workshop
- Long term impact expected through the participation in the workshop
- Ability to disseminate workshop’s outcomes
