The British Council’s Social Innovation in South East Asia programme supports social innovators in their ambitions to achieve more inclusive communities. It does this through developing collaborations with leading UK social innovators across the eco-system, specifically in policy, higher education and social innovation organisational development with a notable focus on social enterprises. The collaborations that are developed focus on sharing learning and developing joint solutions to key challenges that are faced in East Asia (EA) and the UK.

The launching webinar on Social Innovation and Higher Education Landscape report in East Asia will:

  • present the findings and key recommendations of the Social Innovation and Higher Education Landscape Surveys in East Asia (Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Korea)
  • explore opportunities to strengthen social innovation capability within higher education institutions with a focus on research, teaching and knowledge exchange.
