Skills for Inclusive Digital Participation is a project funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) as part of the UK's Digital Access Programme, led by the FCDO, and has been implemented in Indonesia, Kenya, and Nigeria since 2021.

The Skills for Inclusive Digital Participation (SIDP) project is announcing another round of partnership grants for organisations and institutions in East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, Papua, West Papua, and East Kalimantan that work in the field of digital literacy, specifically targeting digitally excluded individuals/groups: women and youth from low-income families, and persons with disabilities, to expand their reach and advance the work of organisations/institutions in providing inclusive digital skills training to these groups.

Grant Funding

A total grant funding of GBP 22,000 is allocated for 4 selected organisations. The maximum grant allocated per institution is GBP 5,500 or equivalent to IDR 111,650,000. The project duration is a maximum of 5 months from August to December 2024, including the final project evaluation.

Deadline for applicants to submit questions and requests for clarification regarding the Grant Contract terms and conditions.

4 July 2024

Deadline for proposal submission.

Proposal evaluation, eligibility check, and due diligence.

10-26 July 2024

Announcement of proposal evaluation results.

Sunday, 29 July 2024

Grant Contract signed by the head of the organisation and the British Council.

5 August 2024

Disbursement of the first funding instalment (90% of the total grant) by the British Council (30 days from the invoice submission by the organisation).

The British Council will pay correctly addressed and undisputed invoices within 30 days in accordance with the contract terms. Prior to payment, the British Council will register the partner organisation on our SAP system for financial administration.

August 2024

Project implementation period.

August-November 2024

Project Evaluation: final survey.

December 2024

Final project report and disbursement of the second funding instalment (10% of the total grant) by the British Council.

January 2025
