Thérèsa studied Undergraduate degree in Ancient History and Archaeology at University of Liverpool followed by a Masters degree at Royal Holloway, University of London in Classical Studies.  She would love to do a PhD. Joined the Home Office working as an Asylum Caseworker in 2001 and worked for a year in this field before leaving and joining the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in 2001.  

Thérèsa  was previously posted to Jakarta 2004-2008 as a Political Officer and then moved to Lusaka in Zambia as Head of Political Section, Consul and Press and Public Affairs.  She returned to the UK and worked on Middle East issues before working as Head of the Andean Team in London and is now posted to Jakarta as Political Counsellor.  Thérèsa has two children, Roan and Emmie, and a wonderful husband.  Love dogs, sport and singing.
