Announcing the first ASEAN-UK SAGE Women in STEM Scholarships recipients
We’re excited to announce that the inaugural ASEAN-UK SAGE Women in STEM Scholarships have been awarded. After a highly competitive selection process, ASEAN-UK SAGE is proud to recognise 12 outstanding women who have been selected from ten ASEAN countries and Timor-Leste. The ASEAN-UK SAGE programme is partnering with two UK higher education institutions, Imperial College London and the University of Warwick, where the scholarship recipients will begin their studies on various STEM Master’s degrees in September/October 2024. New country-specific reports on EdTech released
Three new country-specific reports developed by EdTech Hub are now available. These reports look at opportunities and barriers in EdTech in Cambodia, Lao, and Timor-Leste and can be downloaded from our Research page.
New data gap maps for the ASEAN region available
Both an ASEAN-wide and country-specific data gap maps, developed by ACER, are available now. These data gap maps visualise the underlying factors that explain differences in key outcomes for girls, women and marginalised groups in the ASEAN region, and on a country level. They are available to read from our Research page.
Four thematic situational reports released
You can read four thematic reports looking at the latest initiatives, evidence and strategies in the ASEAN region on the following themes; Advancing girls education, Strengthening foundational learning for boys and girls, Supporting out-of-school girls and marginalised groups, and Tackling gender barriers to basic digital skills for employment. These reports have been produced by ACER and are available on our Research page.
